Automated Vertical Farming System – Leamington, Ontario

This comprehensive Vertical Farming System is a fully automated solution designed for growing leafy greens, herbs, microgreens, soft fruits, young plants, and small crops. The system includes two climate-controlled cells, each offering 144 m² of growing surface across 6 layers. It is configured to handle the entire growing process, from seeding to harvesting, with excess capacity for future expansion.

Key features include:

• 2 Climate-Controlled Vertical Farming Cells: 6 levels of growing space per cell (144 m² per cell) with automated input/output conveyors, internal elevators, and LED lighting (180 lights per cell with 250 µmol light intensity).
• Automated Seeding Station: Infeed conveyor, drum seeder (500 trays/hour capacity, 2 seeding drums), irrigation module, and outfeed conveyor.
• Automated Harvesting Station: Band saw cutter, conveyor, 600 mm harvesting width, capable of processing 2400 trays/hour.
• Product Conveyors: Crate loop with a 200-crates/hour capacity, weighing station, and dirt collection bin.
• Washing and Cleaning System: Includes infeed conveyor, tray placing robot, root cutter, tray cleaning and washer modules, and container washing and buffering stations (200 trays/hour capacity).
• Water and Irrigation Management: UV-disinfection unit, storage silos (21 m³ and 13 m³), drain silo, transport pump, hydrophore unit, and irrigation system with Ebb/flood controls and software for pH & EC.
• Transplanting Table: Designed for manual transplanting operations.
• R&D Growing Chamber: Temperature range 12-35°C, humidity range 50-90%, ideal for research and growing recipe development.
• Additional Sensors: CO2 sensor, water sensors (4 per cell), electrical energy sensors (12 total), and cold energy sensors (4 total).
• Spare Parts Kit: Includes all necessary tools for installation, maintenance, and logistics support.

Not Included: Compressed air, chiller system, CO2 supply, crates, and pallets.

Location: 12 out of 14 containers are available for pick-up in Leamington, Ontario, Canada. Two additional containers can be made available for shipment to the buyer’s location (Incoterms 2020, DAP).
